Rabindra Sangeet as Christian Song
Rabindranath Tagore, the first Asian Nobel Prize Laureate in Literature, had deep respect for Jesus and had written poems inspired by Jesus.
Though not of Christian origin, this Rabindra Sangeet (রবীন্দ্র সঙ্গীত) is a very popular Christmas carol, well known by the Bengali Christian community. In the Christian context, this song is about Jesus inviting us to his Father’s house.
