Verse 1 (Psalm 85:8a):

میں گلّ خدا دی سُݨاں گا
جد کرے گا کلام
ਮੈਂ ਗੱਲ ਖ਼ੁਦਾ ਦੀ ਸੁਣਾਂਗਾ
ਜਦ ਕਰੇਗਾ ਕਲਾਮ

( Main gall Khuda di sunaanga
jad karega kalaam. )
I will listen to the word of God
when He speaks.

کہ اوہ تے آپݨے بندیاں نال
پاک لوکاں نال تمام
ਕਿ ਉਹ ਤੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਬੰਦਿਆਂ ਨਾਲ
ਪਾਕ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਤਮਾਮ

( Kih Ouh te aapne bandiaan naal,
paak lokaan naal tamaam. )
For He is with His own servants,
with all the holy people.

Verse 2 (Psalm 85:8b):

گلّ کرے گا جو اوس دی بات ہے
صلح سلامتی دی
ਗੱਲ ਕਰੇਗਾ ਜੋ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਬਾਤ ਹੈ
ਸੁਲ੍ਹਾ ਸਲਾਮਤੀ ਦੀ

( Gall karega jo Ous di baat hai
sulha salaamti di. )
He will speak whatever is His word
of peace of well-being.

پر چاہیدا ہے جو مڑئیے نہ
ایس گلّ توں اسی وی
ਪਰ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ ਜੋ ਮੁੜੀਏ ਨਾ
ਇਸ ਗੱਲ ਤੋਂ ਅਸੀਂ ਵੀ

( Par caahiida hai jo muriye nah
is gall ton asi vi. )
But also what we ought to do
is to not turn away from this word.

Verse 3 (Psalm 85:9):

ہَے مکتی نیڑے اوہناں دے
جو رکّھدے اوس دا ڈر
ਹੈ ਮੁਕਤੀ ਨੇੜੇ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੇ
ਜੋ ਰੱਖਦੇ ਉਸ ਦਾ ਡਰ

( Hai mukti nere ouhnaan de
jo rakkhde Ous da dar, )
Salvation is near
to those who fear Him,

تاں ساری دھرتی ساڈی وی
جلال دا ہووے گھر
ਤਾਂ ਸਾਰੀ ਧਰਤੀ ਸਾਡੀ ਵੀ
ਜਲਾਲ ਦਾ ਹੋਵੇ ਘਰ​

( taan saari dharti saadi vi
jalaal da hove ghar. )
so our whole Earth may also
become the house of majesty.

Verse 4 (Psalm 85:10):

سچّیائی رحمت آپو وچّ
ہُݨ دوویں مِلیاں ہے
ਸੱਚਿਆਈ ਰਹਿਮਤ ਆਪੋ ਵਿੱਚ
ਹੁਣ ਦੋਵੇਂ ਮਿਲਿਆਂ ਹੈ

( Sacciaayi rehmat aapo vicc
hun doven miliaan hai. )
Righteousness and mercy
have now both met each other.

تے چُمّیاں ہے اِکّ دوجی نوں
سچّیائی صلح نے
ਤੇ ਚੁੰਮਿਆਂ ਹੈ ਇੱਕ ਦੂਜੀ ਨੂੰ
ਸੱਚਿਆਈ ਸੁਲ੍ਹਾ ਨੇ

( Te cummiaan hai ikk duuji nuun
sacciaayi sulha ne. )
Faithfulness and peace
have kissed one another.

Verse 5 (Psalm 85:11):

ہُݨ دھرتی وچّوں ویکھو کہ
سچّیائی اُگّے گی
ਹੁਣ ਧਰਤੀ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਵੇਖੋ ਕਿ
ਸੱਚਿਆਈ ਉੱਗੇਗੀ

( Hun dharti viccon vekho kih
sacciaayi uggegi. )
Now see that from the earth
the faithfulness will sprout.

سچّیائی وی اسماناں تھوں
ہُݨ جھاتی پاوے گی
ਸੱਚਿਆਈ ਵੀ ਅਸਮਾਨਾਂ ਥੋਂ
ਹੁਣ ਝਾਤੀ ਪਾਵੇਗੀ

( Sacciaayi vi asmaanaan thon
hun jhaati paavegi. )
Righteousness from the heavens too
will now cast a glance.

Verse 6 (Psalm 85:12):

جو چنگا ہے سو دیوے گا
یہوواہ بالیقین
ਜੋ ਚੰਗਾ ਹੈ ਸੋ ਦੇਵੇਗਾ
ਯਹੋਵਾ ਬਿਲ-ਯਕੀਨ

( Jo canga hai so devega
Yahowa bilyaqiin. )
Whatever is good thus
YHWH will certainly give.

تے آپݨا حاصل دیوے گی
ایہہ ساڈی سبھ زمین
ਤੇ ਆਪਣਾ ਹਾਸਿਲ ਦੇਵੇਗੀ
ਇਹ ਸਾਡੀ ਸਭ ਜ਼ਮੀਨ​

( Te aapna haasil devegi
eih saadi sabh zamiin. )
And all this land of ours
will yield its own crops.
