Lyrics
( Mubaarakun ’Anta
’ayyuhaa l-Masiy7u ’Ilaahunaa. )
Blessed are You,
O Christ our God.
( Yaa man aẓharta ṣ-ṣayyaadiyna
ghaziyriy l-7ikmah,
’idh sakabta 3alayhimi
r-Ruw7a l-Qudus. )
O You who showed the fishermen
abundant wisdom,
as You poured on them
the Holy Spirit.
( Wa-bihim
iṣṭadta l-maskuwnah.
Yaa Mu7ibba l-bashari l-majdu lak. )
And by them
You fished the inhabited world.
O Philanthropist, glory be to You.

4:18-20
Matthew 4:18-20
[ English Standard Version (ESV) ]
While walking by the Sea of Galilee, He saw two brothers, Simon (who is called Peter) and Andrew his brother, casting a net into the sea, for they were fishermen.
And He said to them, “Follow Me, and I will make you fishers of men.”
Immediately they left their nets and followed Him.
