Rabindra Sangeet as Christian Song
Rabindranath Tagore, the first Asian Nobel Prize Laureate in Literature, had deep respect for Jesus and had written poems inspired by Jesus.
Though not of Christian origin, this Rabindra Sangeet (রবীন্দ্র সঙ্গীত) has been used in Christian worship. Tagore referred to God as Father in the lyrics. The opening lines of the song remind us of Isaiah 64:8-9.
