Verse 1 (Psalm 23:1-2a):

Κύριος ποιμαίνει με
καὶ οὐδέν με ὑστερήσει
( Kyrios pymeni me
ke uden me ysterisi. )
The LORD shepherds me
and for me nothing will be lacking.

Εἰς τόπον χλόης
ἐκεῖ με κατεσκήνωσεν
( Is topon khloyis,
eki me kateskinosen. )
In a place of young foliage,
there He nested me down.

Ἐλέησόν με Κύριε
( Eleyison me Kyrie. )
Have mercy on me O LORD.

Verse 2 (Psalm 23:2b-3a):

Ἐπὶ ὕδατος ἀναπαύσεως
ἐξέθρεψέ με
( Epi ydatos anapafseos
exethrepse me. )
Near the water of refreshment
He nourished me.

Τὴν ψυχήν μου ἐπέστρεψεν

He turned my soul around.

Ἐὰν γὰρ καὶ πορευθῶ
ἐν μέσῳ σκιᾶς θανάτου
οὐ φοβηθήσομαι κακὰ
ὅτι Σὺ μετʼ ἐμοῦ εἶ

Indeed even if I were to walk
amidst the shadow of death,
I will not be afraid of evil things,
because You are with me.

Ἡ ῥάβδος Σου καὶ ἡ βακτηρία Σου
αὗταί με παρεκάλεσαν
( I ravdos Su ke i vaktiria Su,
afte me parekalesan. )
Your rod and Your staff,
they summoned me (to You).

Ἡτοίμασας ἐνώπίον μου τράπεζαν
ἐξεναντίας τῶν θλιβόντων με

exenantias ton thlivonton me. )
You prepared a table before me,
against those who are oppressing me.

Verse 7 (Psalm 23:5b):

Ἐλίπανας ἐν ἐλαίῳ τὴν κεφαλήν μου
καὶ τὸ ποτήριόν Σου μεθύσκον με
ὡσεὶ κράτιστον
( Elipanas en eleo tin kefalin mu
ke to potirion Su methyskon me
osi kratiston. )
You enriched my head in olive oil
and Your cup is making me drunk
as if it is the best (wine).

Verse 8 (Psalm 23:6):

Καὶ τὸ ἔλεός Σου καταδιώξει με
πάσας τὰς ἡμέρας τῆς ζωῆς μου
καὶ τὸ κατοικεῖν με
ἐν οἴκῳ Κυρίου
εἰς μακρότητα ἡμερῶν
( Ke to eleos Su katadioxi me
pasas tas imeras tis zoyis mu
ke to katykin me

And Your mercy will chase me down
all the days of my life,
and for me to dwell
in the house of the LORD
unto the length of days.
