اوتھے ہے تُوں ہی
ਮੈਂ ਚੜ੍ਹ ਜਾਵਾਂ ਜੇ ਅਸਮਾਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਉੱਤੇ
ਓਥੇ ਹੈ ਤੂੰ ਹੀ

If I were to go up to the heavens above,
You are there verily.
وچھاواں بسترا پاتال دے وچّ
اوتھے ہے تُوں ہی

ਸਮੁੰਦਰੋਂ ਪਾਰ ਜਾ ਉਤਰਾਂ
ਸੁਬ੍ਹਾ ਦੇ ਪੰਖਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਫੈਲਾਂ

subha de pankhaã nuũ phailaã, )
Were I to go down across the sea,
were I to spread the wings of the dawn,
تے اوتھے وی تیرا ہتّھ مینوں
یا ربّ راہ وکھاوے گا
‘ਤੇ ਓਥੇ ਵੀ ਤੇਰਾ ਹੱਥ ਮੈਨੂੰ
ਯਾ ਰੱਬ ਰਾਹ ਵਿਖਾਵੇਗਾ

ਜੇ ਮੈਂ ਆਖਾਂ ਕਿ ਮੈਨੂੰ
ਘੁੱਪ ਹਨੇਰਾ ਹੁਣ ਛੁਪਾਵੇਗਾ
( Je maĩ aakhaã kih mainuũ
ghupp hanera hun chupaavega, )
If I were to say that
the pitch darkness will hide me now,
میرے گِردے ہنیرا وی
تدوں چانݨ ہو جاوے گا
ਮੇਰੇ ਗਿਰਦੇ ਹਨੇਰਾ ਵੀ
ਤਦੋਂ ਚਾਨਣ ਹੋ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ
