وڈّے تے ویلے شفقت تیری
رات دے ویلے رحمت تیری
ਵੱਡੇ ਤੇ ਵੇਲੇ ਸ਼ਫ਼ਕਤ ਤੇਰੀ
ਰਾਤ ਦੇ ਵੇਲੇ ਰਹਿਮਤ ਤੇਰੀ
( Vadde te vele shafqat Teri.
Raat de vele rehmat Teri. )
Upon the dawn is Your compassion.
At the time of night is Your mercy.

تے کرنا شکر خدا

بین بربط خوش رنگ وجا کے
ਦਸ ਤਾਰਾ ਇੱਕ ਸਾਜ਼ ਬਣਾਕੇ
ਬੀਨ ਬਰਬਤ ਖ਼ੁਸ਼ ਰੰਗ ਵਜਾਕੇ
( Das taara ikk saaz banaa ke
biin barbat khush rang vajaa ke )

آپنے کّماں تھوں یا ربّا
مینوں تُوں خوش حال ہے کیتا
ਆਪਣੇ ਕੰਮਾਂ ਥੋਂ ਯਾ ਰੱਬਾ
ਮੈਨੂੰ ਤੂੰ ‍ਖ਼ੁਸ਼ ਹਾਲ ਹੈ ਕੀਤਾ
( Aapne kammaan thon, ya Rabba,
mainuun Tuun khush haal hai kiita. )
By Your own deeds, O LORD,
You’ve made me joyful and ecstatic.
